Leadership philosophy
Judgment is the part that stays human.
Finance earns its place in the room when it can do two things at once: hold the standard of evidence, and move at the speed the business actually moves.
That means controls that hold up under scrutiny, reporting that arrives early enough to matter, and a finance organization that understands the operating model rather than only the ledger. It also means being explicit about what is not yet known. Most of the hard decisions I sit with involve incomplete information, and the discipline is in naming the uncertainty rather than smoothing it away.
I care about building teams that can reason, not just reconcile. Systems will keep absorbing the reconciliation. Judgment is the part that stays human, and it is the part worth developing deliberately.
